Lol. Hard no. You would have to whip up some crazy shots to get Hextall drunk for him to even consider that one

I've got a pretty low opinion on Dorion but even I don't think he's actually dumb enough to do something like that. It's basically a bunch of Habs fans reaching from what I can tell. There's nothing there

I like the Bottom 6 you have here, this is what i am hoping we see a lot of this offseason.

I would say both your trades the Sens are not giving enough, and even then I feel like Brown can be used in a package that could get a better top 6 forward or top 4 D.

Domi also the Sens should stay away from, He just isn't a real impact top 6 Forward.

Yeah Dorion clarified that the DeBrincat deal would have still gone ahead with pick 16 vs 7 but with another piece. With that context the original trade makes A LOT more sense, but at the time it felt like a gut punch to read. The thought of moving a top pick just to dump a bad contract made me sick, I had no clue that anything like that would be coming. I'm still in shock honestly, when has Ottawa ever had a slam dunk trade of this magnitude? I don't think they ever have.
