HARD decline from OTT... switch the pick from one side to another and from 2nd to 1st since the Sens have ABSOLUTELY 0 interests/needs in the two players offered

The leafs are taking the full salary of Murray no retention. You need to take salary back plus his contract is backloaded.

That deal to Buffalo that Murray didn’t waive for involved 7OA I can gurantee that

They also have zero leverage in the trade discussion. Fair deal for Toronto taking on a backloaded deal

Dredger just said it would’ve been Ottawa moving down 9 spots in the draft meaning they gave up 7OA.

That’s only the base there’s more moving parts for sure. Maybe Connor brown and etc involved.

    No from the Isles.

Isles need LHD, Toronto has too many. Isles top 4:

    Peelch-Pulock
    Muzzin-Dobson

Easy a top 5 1 and 2 pairing in the league. Toronto now counts on their youth

Isles are not taking on Muzzin, he isn’t waiving and Mayfield can be argued is a better player.

Lmfaooo, you can’t argue that with a straight face.

Muzz in his decline is better than Mayfield in his prime

This is where your homerism has been exposed, Mayfield has been one of the best defensive d man in the league the last few years, while Muzzin has been in a steady decline and is best suited as a 3rd paid guy now. Muzzin is overpaid by 50%, while Mayfield is in one of the best contracts in the league.

Since you love Muzzin, you should keep him as he has a NTC anyway and the Isles will be more than happy to keep Mayfield and not have Muzzin and his contract.

I think you need to take of your homerism. Nobody in their right mind chooses Mayfield over Muzz.

Let’s see how Mayfield preforms in non trotz system. Gurantee it won’t be pretty.

Even in a season where it was noticeable Muzz had declined, he still had better analytics, GSVA than Mayfield by almost double

Every team in the league even when the isles went to the ECF had better possession analytics because trotz system allowed teams to control the puck.

We are in agreement, you keep Muzzin and the Isles keep Mayfield and ACGMs stop proposing Muzzin to the Isles multiple times a day since they do not want him.
