If it was Murray(with some retention)+7th OV for 9th OV that's not a bad trade at all by Dorion if he's looking to free the cap space up. If Buffalo was giving up the 16th or 28th, then there must have been some other piece coming out from Buffalo.

According to Dreger, it was 16 OA for 7OA, Murray with some retention, and maybe another asset from Ottawa. It was a little unclear, as he reported another asset before later tweeting that the pick swap would have been included.

16th OA for Murray @4m + 7OA (and more from OTT), doesn't seem like a complete trade to me still lol, but who knows.
