Description

Is Romanov a sexy move? Hell no. But! It does solve our top 4 issue, provides a young player to remain part of the corps and most importantly, leaves cap space for a UFA signing. If we can move two of Varly/Bailey/Beau, we can afford just about anyone on the market. NOT saying it’ll be Gaudreau, but it could be just about any big fish on the wings.

Underrated move, absolutely solidifies top 4 only thing better would have been a steal of sergachev. This squad could be back to a conference finals run, with the right scorer.

Philly has no money for him, I think he heads to NJ, but NJ needs to clear some roster spots.

My top targets would be Forsberg, then Gaudreau, then Giroux (provided he’s on a short term deal)
