Description
Improving the PK should be a huge priority. I like the TVR/Kruger idea. Panarin and Panik are about to count for $8 million more against the cap. Plus, they need another forward who meets exposure requirements (along with Tootoo) so we actually have a trade involving Deslauriers. We will have to overpay for Alzner but he's a good compliment to Ristolainen on the top pair and a good penalty killer. Florida needs a defenseman that meets exposure requirements if they protect Ekblad, Yandle, and Demers. Which they will. So a trade of depth defenseman gets back Pysyk, a good penalty-killing defensive defenseman. Lastly, if you've seen Eichel and Gaudreau together at the worlds, or the 8 shifts Bylsma let Eichel and Kane play together, you know that would be a top line to rival any in the league. Gaudreau isn't going anywhere but Drouin is a possibility. I know they want a top-4 D, but Reinhart, McCabe and the #8 should be enough ammo for them to get one. We bring back Sam Bennett for Robin Lehner to lessen the sting of losing Reinhart, and all of the sudden, Vegas doesn't have good options from our roster. Then, and only then, will Vegas take Ennis with a sweetener. Holden is an underrated defenseman we get for Girgensons, who always played well against the Rangers. Petersen signs his ELC to be the #1 in Rochester, and we use our combination of #1PP and much improved penalty kill and this team is ready to take to the farmer's market. Special, two plums for one. Woo!

Holy cow none of this would work. I don't know what's more outlandish, Deslauriers and garbage picks for Kruger and TVR or Justin Falk for Pysyk. I know Florida wants to unload a guy they may lose in expansion but you've gotta send them some pick or prospect for Psysk in return. Falk is NOT good. Don't get me started on that Drouin trade. I can live with Reinhart gone but McCabe AND the first rounder? Pick your poison. No Thanks.

Literally every trade would be rejected.

sorry to inform you that vegas has lots of options besides Ennis to select in the draft. if you don't want him, either does vegas. he stays a sabre.

Too much value going to TB for Drouin. Doesn't make sense for Sabres. He is good, but he is not significantly better than Reinhart. Not to mention, McCabe and our 8th overall is involved. Not good.
