Gibson has to be the Leafs Number 1 Target goalie right now.......regardless what the media tell us.

Think so, it's a high risk, high reward play, that will ultimately determine Dubas' fate. If it works out, this team is dynamite. If not, it's time to admit failure and start rebuilding.

Seattle is a team selling players, not buying them. They're moving out their players in exchange for prospects and picks.

That said, Kerfoot and Holl are worth more than a 2023 2nd.

Agree......Dubas needs to roll the dice this offseason and do something big to ensure Leafs win in the Playoffs or else he is gone next summer.

True, but I can picture them buying a few pieces to slowly improve the team if the price is right, especially given how things worked out at the draft. Also, I think a 2nd is the right price, they both only have one year on their contracts.

Also, it would be funny for Seattle to have Holl, Kerfoot, AND McCann after the expansion debate.

Ya people are not understanding Kerfoot is only owed like 750k next year or something. He's got good value

You need to review Gibson's track record and realize that he is a big game goalie........Don't worry about the last few years playing for a weak team.

Three years, in a row, of being flat out terrible. The thing about big game goalies is they can actually get you to those big games. Gibson is the biggest reason the ducks havent had a big game since 2018.
Oh, and gibson was awful those big games, they got swept because largly because he stunk

No chance on Gibson unless 50% retention. His ticket is ridiculous (5x$6.4) and adding him would prevent any other moves. Plus he’s been average or below average for past few seasons. Easy to find better value goalies elsewhere
