Idk if Mikko Rantanen at C for the year is the answer but he seemed to do just fine filling in for Kadri. Don’t like the idea of trading Girard but it’s the price to pay for acquiring Kane.

Patrick Kane isn’t the answer to any question the Avs have unless it is how can the Avs more quickly close their window.

That price doesnt seem very high for Girard but Ottawa is looking to add to the right side, not the left
