Oettinger probably wouldn’t agree to talk to Toronto but even if he got that offer sheet the stars would match imo

Oh it’s not about Toronto. I mean guys don’t normally meet with other teams as RFA’s and Oettinger probably won’t be the exception to that.

Shouldn't the Leafs just sign Campbell for about 5m and keep their picks? But really the cap reality dies, with the trading of NTC Muzzin.

Wondering that also.

You've proven cap space is easily obtained. Players with full ntc, partial ntc can easily be moved for very positive returns. Seattle has a pretty good hold on most offer sheets Toronto can make. That 3rd rd pick is key to Toronto OS and Seattle can hold it for whatever they want.

He says no because he's from Minnesota. Most Minnesota born players, American born players don't want to play in Canada
