I’m sorry if you weren’t aware but we have Sid, Letang, and Geno (maybe) all on contracts with term and age and will be retiring soon. We don’t need a 4th with Toews and we certainly aren’t trading those assets for it.

So Buffalo gets Varly and a 2nd for eating over $5 million of cap if I am reading that right. On top of that Pittsburgh wouldn't want Toews and the Islanders are paying too much for a UFA in Kane and I don't think Kane waives to go to the Island.
