Scratching Merkely for a guy who hasn’t played in a year and a half, ouch. No Ferraro?

Being dramatic putting Viel as 3rd liner and benching Balcers? Also, Perron might be the last guy in all of the NHL to ever sign a deal with the Sharks. Dude hates San Jose after the Jumbo incident and the various playoff series of the past. Lastly, where is Ferraro?

It's spiralling in a downward direction for about 5 seasons now, so what's changed this year?

Personally I’m thankful for Philly and sj to keep my jets from being the only team stuck in bubble mediocre land, for now and distant future.

Ferraro was an accident, but this is the natural conclusion of this new direction. Skilled guys who don’t hit are going to be pushed out.
