-Deferring to the Canes fans that have already spoken up, but I think the basis for the deal is fine. Throw in full retention and the return probably gets a little better.

-Can't see Chicago bailing on Seth Jones so quickly but even if they didn't I don't think it's enough. The 2023 Florida 1st and 2024 Tampa 1st probably have equal value, which means its Jones for Drouin/Barron/Montreal's 2024 1st/Colorado's 2024 2nd. Not enough to me.

-This is more in line with what Josh Anderson's value is (not a 1st or top prospect) so even if it's not Jersey, it's about right for moving his contract off your books.

-Nothing in this deal gets you PLD. Dvorak is a low-end 2C/high-end 3C, Mailloux isn't really a prospect until he plays games again, and having Winnipeg send back a 3rd to get a 2025 1st is too much.
