Can't see it - they wouldn't be able to keep him with Mac, Byram and Newhook all needing new deals after next season. If you figure $11M for Mac, $4M for Byram and $2M for Newhook then give JTM $9M (and that's probably too low), they only have $5M left to fill out 5 more roster spots unless the cap goes up a lot. I like JTM but I'm not sure the Avs can afford another big contract like that and they shouldn't be in the market for a rental.

It's the same amount of money going out as it is coming in. They likely won't be able to re-sign J.T. Miller when the contract is up, but Newhook should be more than ready for 2C duties by then.
