A) That's too much for Miller, especially without retention.

B) Even at 50% retention as Miller replaces Chytil, but then having to replace Lundkvist in the lineup with Zac Jones, the Rangers might still not be able to fit Miller in.

Canucks don't need Lundkvist... Why would we need an offensive defenceman whose under 6' on the right side?

I like the forward core but I hate seeing the defence the way it is right now

I like Pearson, but that deal makes no sense for the leafs. The two players are similar enough, and I think the cap hit is about the same. If Leafs trade Kerfoot, it will most likely be for picks, and they probably get a UFA. With this trade they probably stick with the guy they know and like.
