I'm thinking Berggren starts in the AHL and same with Edvinsson. Kubalik is not a fourth line guy so something has to give there, my guess is Berggren unless he lights up camp and preseason. I'm hoping Walman gets a good chance to prove himself this year, I liked what little I saw of him.

Ton of competition for roster spots in camp.

I'd put Perron at RW2, force Zadina to take his spot or stay on 3rd line with Suter and Kubalik.

Why would Berggren be ahead of Rasmussen? Zadina ahead of Perron?

This is more of a joke since there are so many damn guys under contract.

My thought process here was to spread out the veterans to play with the youth...
Suter + Z + Kubalik = 499 GP total
Vrana + Copp + Perron = 1777 GP

Doing it the way I suggested provides some experienced and inexperienced players to come together:
Vrana + Copp + Zadina = 964 GP
Kubalik + Suter + Perron = 1312 GP

Berggren has more offensive game than Ras, so he's better suited for a top 9 role. Zadina/Perron, see above. Ultimately, this is a parody.

Berggren hasn't even played an NHL game yet. He's not going to bump Rasmussen off the team unless he has an amazing training camp. Yzerman might not be done yet. A trade or 2 might be coming. I could see Erne, Smith or even Zadina being traded. Maybe Oesterle.

You guys seem to have a lot of cap space left and can improve. Wonder if anything else is planned

I think a lot of the trades previously conceived here on CF are null and void now: I don't think PHI & CGY need to move JvR & Monahan anymore, Pettersson might not be needed now, etc.

I can see an argument to move a few of our preexisting players: Hronek (if we get a replacement), Zadina, Suter, Erne, Smith, Rasmussen, Oesterle. I just don't know where and what for.

The shape Philly is in I doubt anyone re-signs there, Sanhiem might be available, JVR as well could actually be an asset at the TDL… idk, I’m intrigued by the moves Detroit made, looks like they want to not only make the playoffs, but compete for the cup
