I can't see Dubas sacrificing the D for offense like that. We would be taking a big step backwards for the team D. I agree, the front end needs help and I would love to pick up a guy with upside like Strom, but we can't lose out on the backend to do it. It's going to be barging basement dumpster diving that will get us there.

I wish there was some sort of site where leaf fans could see that the Kings don’t have the cap space and that Muzzin has a full NTC. One day, maybe.

After we re-sign Mikey Anderson and Sean Durzi, we'll have around half a million of cap space and 14 forwards and 7 defensemen on the roster, so we're ready for training camp now. In short, acquiring Muzzin now would require adjustments to the roster that run counter to the plan we've been following all along. It just doesn't work.
