The two firsts are nice, but the rest is pretty meh. I would think the Jets turn this down. 2 years of Dubois and his return as a rental is better than this.

habs are not retaining, hughes said it, especially for an underwhelming return like that
1st , dvo, and harris or norlinder is enough for dubois
hes not a star, hes an okay top line c
if that is the cost, habs dont touch it

You’re out of your mind if you think Jets would turn down 2 first in the 2023 draft, Dvorak and Poehling (another first rounder) for Dubois. If this kind of offer was on the table it wouldve been accepted already. Jets would have 3 first rounders in one of the deepest drafts (especially at C). Dubois could easily be teplaced.

I like Dvorak and he can at least fill a role as a middle 6 C. I used to think he had way more offensive upside but I think he is what he is. 2 1sts is good value. No interest in Fairbrother or Poehling. Much more interested in Barron or Ylonen.

Would the Habs have to send salary back? Drouin?

What rental gets 2 1sts + roster player + prospect lol? For a 60 point center? This offer is an overpay.
