Genuinely curious as to what the Oil have lost on to make them not one of the biggest winners

I get why Columbus is in the both category, but based on the signing of Gaudreau and what that means to the franchise now and into the future, they should be in the winners category.

I'd put Edmonton right bellow Ottawa. Very good offseason. Just the Kane contract alone justifies being in the biggest winners.

No duh, that’s why I get why they are in the both category, but the fact that Gaudreau left money on the table to come to Columbus is huge for Columbus and shows that the old neritive that players don’t want to be there isn’t exactly true. That’s why even with Gudbranson signing this offseason is still a massive win for Columbus. But why would fans of other teams understand that, they always get free agents and player who want to go there.

All us Canes fans understand the Jackets problems completely. I think you can also throw in Sabres fans into the mix as well.

Not to mention on a personal note, I have family who roots for the Jackets, so I get their takes as well.
