Would be an extremely bold move by Dubas, and he would be criticized heavily. But if he trades Sandin and Engvall to recoup some assets it wouldn't be as bad. I don't think Amirov would be in this deal anyways due to his situation, but Knies Niemela, a 1st and Holl for Miller retained and Schenn still favours the leafs in my opinion. I think if it happens at the TDL, then the leafs could definitely pay less if the Canucks are desperate to move Miller. Maybe something like Niemela, Holl, a 1st and a 2nd, maybe another late pick. Niemela and Knies are late picks so they don't have top prospect value, the 1st rounder is definitely the centre piece of the trade.

Schenn is awesome but I don't think he is untouchable. He is great to have now to mentor and protect the young guys and cause he fights, but for a good return I could see him traded. Its unlikely that he will contribute much by the time Nucks are making cup runs. Especially since Allvin and JR are trying to make the team younger and revitalize the prospect pool.

Barely. Most canucks would say he is untouchable. He is our only hard player who fights and we desperately need hard players on RD. He's also making league min. He was literally our best right D last season and he was good paired with Hughes. He isn't untouchable but trading him at this moment would be very stupid unless the return is good.
