Um...what? That trade is so woefully lopsided. And why would Vegas take on a negative asset for the rights to a player that they could have the rights to for free?

Don't really understand the Vegas pick. Can't they just pick Grubauer for nothing? Why would they take Orpik? Don't see it happening

I don't think Copley is NHL ready. He has been so successful in the AHL and I think that's where he belongs. If you want a cheap backup goalie, go after Mike Condon

I think Calgary,Philly and maybe some others would be interested in trading for Grubby before the draft . If McPhee, who drafted him, thinks he could be their franchise keeper maybe they agree to take Orpik too so that Caps don't trade him. I think Vegas has taken some Caps front office people as well.

I'd take this trade in a heartbeat. Two younger guys for cheaper, one being a center. Ovie's contract is hurting the caps now, imagine in 3 years
