No disrespect, but jets fans stop trying to be leafs fans with blake wheeler. No, Minnesota declines. We aren't trading our cheap 1c for lockerroom cancer, and blisted contract of Blake wheeler

Wheeler is a Minnesota guy, and he's still a point per game player. I understand not giving up Hartman, but with salary retained, would Minnesota not want him?

The Dubois deal seems reasonable although Chevy may want Barron instead of Dvorak.

Most likely Winnipeg holds onto Dubois this year and we all get to do this again next summer.

Montreal is not going to give up 2 young top/middle 6 centers and a 1st for 1 top/middle 6 center. It just doesn't make sense, that leaves our center line up as Suzuki-Dubios-Evans-Pitlick not exactly worth it for Montreal.
SMH liked this.

With the moves Montreal has been making to clear cap i wont be surprised if it happens soon, but Chevy wont get less than he wants. I could see him wanting Barron more, but I feel like Montreal would like having Dvorak's contract off their hands.

We don't care that he's a Minnesota born player, neither does Guerin. No, we wouldn't want him because Guerin doesn't want lockerroom cancerous player, he doesn't want older slower players and not a chance Minnesota is taking on his contract no matter what

I doubt it. Guerin doesn't place any added value on where a guy is from. All he cares about is that they help the team win. We really don't have the cap for it anyway. With Rossi on the roster, we have $3.45 million. Doing the deal as you suggested leaves us adding $3.55 million. Next year we will have $2 million less in cap room due to the buyouts and Boldy will have a new contract we'll have to fit in. With a $1 million cap increase built in, we have 13 guys on next year's roster and $17 million to fill 9 or 10 spots. I really see the fit here.
