Isles fans are gonna destroy you. Dobson is legitimately fantastic. He’s not getting moved for Miller in any deal.

The Islanders wouldn’t trade Dobson for Miller. Miller is a 29 year old expiring top line forward. Dobson is a top pair righty d man who is 22 years olds. You can’t compare the two based on age alone. Miller is about to enter a steep decline and Dobson hasn’t even entered his prime yet.

If the rumors are true the Rangers wouldn’t move Schneider in a Miller deal. Not sure why the isles would move Dobson based on that logic Lmao.

Can’t wait to start seeing Miller for Fox posts after this. Because we all know it will eventually happen.

From the games I’ve seen, Dobson will eventually be the best defenseman the Isles got if not already. He’s a legit beast. They honestly just need some more high end scoring to pair with Barzal and they’re good to go.

I think either Raty, Dufour or Wahlstrom will develop into a top line guy. Imo they r better off being patient unless they can add someone like Timo Meier.

That’s my hope for Laf to be that top line threat and eventually Kakko being a more reliable top 6 winger as Panarin and Kreider eventually slow down.

I didn’t understand why they signed Trocheck tbh. They should’ve kept Copp or just let Chytil, Kakko and Laf play full time top six roles. Trocheck seems like a bad move in the long term tbh.

Unfortunately they’re hell bent on going all in the next few years I think till we need to resign Shesty. Once that happens they’re gonna have to tear apart the team and reset given the cap making life a pain. And yeah I’d have just elevated the kids line and seen what they could’ve done in larger roles.

I would’ve understood Copp. I think Trocheck is on the verge of a serious decline. Like Frans Nielsen in Detroit level bad.

Yeah I’m pretty skeptical at least for now.
