that arizona trade is so bad for the leafs.
a 1st liner, 2nd pair defender and a 4th liner for a 2nd liner a vastly over paid 4th liner and a pure cap dump that actually hurts their cap situation by being on LTIR

Arizona trade is vastly in Yotes favour and VAN trade is heavily in TML's favour.

Arizona is paying the same money out either way. At least by moving out little, they are getting production for their money.
At the end of the day, yotes get the better player in the deal and the leafs get a solid fwd and cap space in return. Cap space as we know, is much needed.
Muzzin stamping this deal is the biggest question.

except this makes the leafs significantly worse and doesnt help them in any way shape or form. They downgrade both forward and defense and now they need two top 6 forwards to replace what was lost with Nylander because 30 point lawson crouse isnt even remotly capable of filling the gap and ritchie already showed he's useless in that line up.
And like i said, Little actually hurts the leafs cap, burying a player on LTIR is not free cap space or money and prevents a team from accruing deadline cap space and does not count against bonus'.
this is lose lose lose for the leafs and 2 mill in 'cap space' isnt even close to helping them

If this is accurate, I then I tend to agree. I might also be over evaluating crouse as well.
Thank you for the feedback.
