I like Konecny but that's a huge price to pay for someone who isn't much of an upgrade over Foligno (and is also a lot more expensive). I would even argue he isn't an upgrade in most areas, Foligno has been incredible for us. I don't see us moving Foligno anyways.

If you are going to blow it up, why are you paying a first to dump JVR? Also neither Minnesota or Detroit consider.

Hard Decline from Detroit. The Wings are also a re-building club.

Detroit isn't giving up it's 2023 1st Rounder unless a superstar is coming back.

He is younger and signed longer than Foligno. If Foligno is on the downside of his career TK fills in while he is still relatively cheaper. If TK doesn't score 20, then it is 2 2nds. You retain both 1sts, and get TK.

I think your undervaluing the Red Wings, they are very close to making the jump. Provy may be the partner to Seider that he needs. Seider drives the play and Provy plays the defense. For years to come.

Umm no this is hard declines by Minnesota..not a chance Marcus foligno is getting traded. You have the add on the wrong side. That you are treating foligno like cap dump and got Minnesota adding two 1st round pick, nevermind any pick is beyond not realistic. Marcus foligno is 3 mil and 20 & 20 defensive and scoring beast.

Foligno isn't. Foligno is Minnesota's leader and one third of the best 3rd line in NHL with Joel Eriksson Ek and greenway. Not a chance Guerin would trade foligno. Like Russo said, 'over Guerin's dead body.' Foligno is Wild's heart and soul leader. You are overvaluing a player who hasn't been good for past two years while undervaluing Marcus foligno who would only be traded with overpayment you don't like counter proposal: Marcus foligno for philly next two 1st round picks

Teams that are very close to being a playoff team don't just give up their 1st. Once Detroit has made the playoffs for a couple years in a row and starts to knock on the door of the Stanley cup, that's when Steve Y will consider trading 1st round picks. Edvinsson could be the partner Seider needs. Why give up what could become a lottery pick again next year and turn into Bedard for Provorov when we already have Seiders partner from within.
