I don't think you'd have to give up that much for JP. I straight Kap/JP swap would work. The only thing I think you're way off on is his salary. His arb will come in around the $3.5/$4M, so I doubt he'd take that low of a salary.

Great minds think alike. Though I prefer my defense to yours (we flipped the 1/2 and 3/4). Also, it might take more than a 4th for Brock.
