Maybe Buffalo agrees to take on Voracek to get one of the CBJ’s young right handed defenseman. Might have to send something back but it would be worth it to get someone like Andrew Peeke.

Considering Jiricek is in the system it’s worth a shot lol. Also worth mentioning if salary needs to go the other way that Girgensons played with Johnny Hockey in the USHL and can still produce in a fourth line role.

Not saying the Jackets would do this and it isn’t a rumor. Just speculation on my part given the fact they have Peeke, Boqvist, and Jiricek in the system and are also paying Erin Gudbranson way too much money.

I see a lot of good young players, but very few elite players and if they have elite players, it’s the two #1 picks on the d corps. Do you really think savioe or cozens are a #1 centre on a stanley cup contender? Be really tough to address that via FA so you better hope they are

Cozens is a 1C imo. Thomson looks like a really good 2C and you have to remember they also have Krebs and Middlestadt in the system too. If they had to trade for a center they could, but they won’t have to.

Lol, I didn't mean it like that 😂 I wouldn't mind that lineup above. Although Samuelsson, Power, and Dahlin should all get around 20 minutes a night. They are the core of this teams defense, Samuelsson is going to be one of the best defensive Dmen in the world if you ask me a biased buffalo fan.

Got to keep Ryan Johnson tho. I’d rather have him than Samuelsson tbh. But I’d probably trade Bryson first since he has more value. I could c him heading to Columbus in a deal for a righty d man anyway since he can play both sides of Jiricek isn’t ready. That being said I think Nemec and Jiricek both end up playing this year. Or at least they should play this year.

Samuelsson is hopefully not going anywhere ever. I am sooo high on him, maybe I'm crazy but I think he could become something similar to someone like Slavin. When Ryan Johnson comes to the Sabres id play like this with Peeke.

The guy Savoie reminds me of the most wears #13 for the Isles. The other guy he reminds me of is Brandon Point. Sabres got an absolute steal at #9.

I have a soft spot for the city of Buffalo. My parents met at UB before they went division one. Sabres have been a train wreck, but it seems like they r about to be really good. They need to get Portillo and Johnson signed tho. Portillo’s worst case is he’s a good #3 and Johnson is just a good player.

That being said Buffalo is that market guys love once they get there. If you are good in Buffalo you are a god. And the fans will treat you the right way.
