The Isles don't have the assets to make this move bc they have horrible prospects

Raty and Dufour have real value but ok. Nobody made this comparison except for you. I’m not sure what you want me to tell u.

Tkachuk, if he is traded and does not leave as FA, is realistically only going three places; STL where is from, OTT to play with his brother on a truly rising team shockingly and NJD because the GM is his cousin.

This dude is talking about prospects when his teams starting goalie is Vitek Vanecek. Isles top four d and goaltending are elite and that’s what matters most in the post season. Hughes isn’t even as good as Barzal he just plays with real wingers. Barzal has Zack Parise Lmao.

It’s the most obvious landing spots for sure. I don’t expect Lou to trade for him because good things don’t happen on Long Island lol. Idea he will only go to a place where he is from or where he has family is kind of ridiculous tho.

Dude ran into Wahlstrom and got hurt. Then PK Subban started crying about it like some islanders fan. Sad!

I'm taking our d core over yours all day. 1, maybe 2 teams rn have a better right side than us with Hamilton, Severson, Marino. Nemec, Walsh, Mukhamadulin in pipeline. And I'm taking Hughes all day over Barzal at this point especially when you'll be paying him 10+ next year and we have Jack at 8m

Why do you think everyone on Long Island wants to leave?

Hamilton is third pair on the isles. Severson is mid but I do like Marino. Just not more than anyone in the isles top four.

Also Barzal probably gets 8 million a year cause they’ve kept his point total down by playing him Zack Parise and Cal Clutterbuck lmao.

Hamilton is not a third pairing dman on any team in the league. He started year hot, broke his jaw, and came back shaky. Still produced at 0.5 PPG. He'll be fully recovered and light it up this year

That doesn't get him. Dobson, Wahlstrom, 2023 1st is more realistic. May take more than that

Quoting: Devsfan25
Devils are in much better place. Can offer Holtz, Foote, Severson, 2023 1st

Dobson has 3-4 x as much value as any asset you just listed from the devils

He is worse than Pulock and Dobson. So yeah he would be third pair on the island lol.

This dude started a fight and expected it to work Lmao. Isles just need to get Sorokin to the playoffs. After that anything can happen.

The islanders have 3 defenseman better than any Devils D , you should probably learn to be a little less biased

Not having a meltdown. Just trying to have Islanders fans realize that acquiring Tkachuk is gonna take more than a 31 yo middle six forward, a B level prospect, a good young player coming off a down year, and a 1st. Quality not quantity
