It’s so cute and quirky how you ignored the 2nd and used the floor of Kapanen and Poulin

if you think the 2nd is the #2 asset in this deal you might be right. which is the whole problem with this pathetic offer

I would say the 2nd is the third asset in the trade, after Poulin.

This is well over 2 firsts in value. You think Lindholm is worth 3 firsts?

I think he’s worth more lmao, he’s a bona fide 1C that can score 40 goals and a point per game, and will probably win a Selke soon (runner-up this year). His market value is easily 10mil+ and he’s locked up for less than 5mil. His production + defensive ability + prime position + enviable cap hit with term makes him one of the most valuable assets in the league right now

If you think Elias Lindholm is worth 10 M plus the I don’t even no what to say to you. That’s just absurd. You are also talking like there’s a chance he scores 40 goals when he is off of that line he was on - which was the best line in the NHL. He never hit 30 before this year. Gaudreau was the best player on that line and his market value is around 10M, Lindholm was the third best player on that line. You don’t make 10M plus if you are the third player on any line

If you don’t know anything about him, don’t talk like you do. Do some actual digging and you might figure out how good he is. And regardless, you’re not getting him.

Literally go look at any advanced stat. His market value according to Dom was 12.2mil last year. Saying he’s never hit 30 goals when he had 29 in a shortened season is being deliberately ignorant. His offensive and defensive impacts are both elite. Look at more than his hockeydb page. There’s no W for ignorance lmao

Lol Doms market value is so inaccurate. I have seen players over 16 million. I look at his analytics. They are very good, but not incredible. You also have to acknowledge that he has had a career year on the best line in the nhl.

You don’t need analytics to know that lindholm does not get more than Johnny on the open market

Dude Elias wont make 10 mil lmao. Hes a very good player and super underrated, but 10 mil is a longshot for sure
