I could see New Jersey having a decent chance with all the picks and prospects. Only problem would be having a number 1 guy they'd want to fully commit to. Hughes? Hischier? Tkachuk? Someone else?

I’d say the Leads have the best chance. Probably for Kerfoot, Robertson, and a 3rd.

For Jersey? Certainly. One of the more likely ones simply due to their prospect pool and workable cap space.

Still think this while thing is overblown though for now. Nobody with an ounce of credibility has said he is being shopped. Could still very likely sign long term and be named captain

I might be biased in saying this, but I can’t see Tkachuk willing to sign long term outside of St. Louis or Ottawa with his brother. I think teams will shy away if he only wants to sign a 1 year deal with them. Just a hunch, I could be way off.
