Description

Vegas obviously gets Tkachuk, only takes Monahan if it's clear that he will never play again so they can throw him on LTIR. Calgary gets a young player who can play in the top 6, Vegas' best prospect who will be NHL ready in a year, a young defenceman who looked NHL ready at prospect development camp, an unprotected first-round pick in 2024, and an unprotected second-round pick.

I don’t mind the Karlsson trade but I don’t think he would waive for Winnipeg.

Pacioretty doesn't get positive trade value with one year left at 7 million but Karlsson does at 5.9 million for the next 5 years does?
