This is ridiculous.
1. Way too much going to CGY in this trade. Kyrou and a 1st is about the value.
2. Tarasenko has a no trade clause and is not going to CGY
3. Tkachuk is not signing for less than 10M a year
4. I like the Kessel signing but it's just not gunna happen...

Bottom line, CGY ain't getting 3 valuable roster players... AND a 1st round pick

In that way, CGY only get control on Kyrou...
We have to think that Barbashev and Tarasenko are not back next year and will walk to UFA.
Also, to get Matthew in the lineup STL need to make room under the cap.
He take a discount to play in his hometown.

I would take dube out and keep barbashev. Blues probably can't resign him but he's too valuable to the team.
Tarasenko will get traded in a seperate deal.

Kyrou and a 1st is about equal value to Tkuchuk

Tkachuk > Kyrou and its not even close/debatable.
It's going to be more than Kyrou and a 1st to get Tkachuk.

100pt Power forwards who have both hands and a mean edge don't grow on tree's
There's not another player in the league like Tkachuk.
If STL isn't willing to give up more they wont get him.

Kyrou, Barbashev and pick is probably the size of the package. Maybe not exact pieces. People are getting really carried away on what the return will be.

These ACGMs need to calm down lol. I'm seeing so many low ball offers and some ridiculously overpriced offers. You've got the framework of the deal and any ACGM should be similar.

Top6 F, good prospect or proven middle player with potential, 2023 1st. You don't get a 100pt power forward without giving up quality.
