Description

It’s funny how last offseason everyone thought Tarasenko was done and he waned out from the Blues, so they looked to trade him. Now he is back in trade rumors again but for completely different reasons with the recent Matthew Tkachuk move and the Blues needing to clear cap space.

Let me know if this is enough for Tarasenko. I held off on sending over a guy like Beauvillier because I wasn’t sure if St. Louis wanted to take back salary or would rather just get prospects and picks.

There’s a decent chance the isles pick top 5-7 in 2024 , don’t think this is a good move

If the blues get Tkachuk, I have a feeling the package won’t have to be so great as if they were just trading him and looking for a decent replacement

Honestly if we’re giving even fair market value for Tarasenko, I say don’t do it. Trading him is almost a requirement for the Blues to get Tkachuk. I’m not saying we get him for FCs, but like one of Bellows/Salo/Holmstrom and a 2nd is my starting point for him.

If it doesn’t work out, so be it. Not my ideal target anyways
