Do you think Flames get too little or that they should keep Lindholm entirely?

Gives LA a solid top defenseman capable of playing top line minutes. He'd be a good pair with Doughty IMO. I think the Avs would need a defenseman back, not sure who exactly but someone who could play bottom six at least. I hear ya though, I'm just trying to find a way for Lindholm to Colorado and Girard is their best trade chip right now.

Bjornfoot is a solid, younger, far cheaper defenseman and they already have him. Then you want a 1st, as well. Hoping is free, but don't get them too high, because they will be dashed.

While I agree hes cheaper, I would argue your other points. Girard has been a top pairing defenseman for four years and is entering the prime of his career. Sean Walker would work for the Avs too, that piece doesnt matter as much. Blake has said he wants to start getting more established players and Sammy G has the potential to be very good for a long time with a very capfriendly deal for the foreseeable future. Either way I'm just throwing it out there, as an Avs fan I wouldnt mind the roster as is today with some of our younger guys stepping up to fill the 2C role, just think this trade benefits all teams involved
