Saw a post today that moved Wennberg to the Avs if they don’t resign Kadri, which makes sense to me. Not sure the value but this seems pretty fair.

I think it’s going to come back to haunt you. Should have moved Nyquist. You won’t convince me there wasn’t a single team interested

I think Seattle will go with 3 goalies to start the season, and if they are all good then a trade happens if one of them sucks they will just get waived probably.

Probably the best choice to become compliant, the other guys probably required sweetners, at least he got some assets.

I would have given up a first to just keep bjorkstrand. And added a second to dump another player. This is a joke of a trade.

With retention they easily could have moved him and got something back

I felt like that's what MTL had two seasons ago.

They are still over the cap slightly lol, so maybe they do move him or just send some guys down to the minors. Long-term though getting rid of Bjorkstrand's contract might be necessary.

Retaining cap wasn't really an option for them, and cap probably wasn't the issue for cap teams who might be interested. I think it's safe to assume that JK did his job as a GM and checked all avenues.

Nah we’re good now. We have 27 players on the roster including Jenner tex and tarasov on the IR. Send down 3-4 ahl guys and we’re good.
