    1) Muzzin's not waiving his NTC and if he did, his salary going the other way wipes the retention from Ottawa's side.
    2) How the hell is Alex Kerfoot netting a bigger return than Bjorkstrand - from the team that fleeced Columbus out of their blue jackets for Bjorkstrand??

There are 29 other GMs in the league who must be sleeping as well.

GenxHockey - why would the leafs even want to trade for Bjorkstand? 4x$5.4m for a guy that scores 20-30 goals. A 1/3 of his production comes on PP and he wouldn’t get a sniff on Leafs PP. naahhh, not for me
Still time to make moves, hopefully we find Bunting 2.0 to play with JT & Willy. But it will mean Kerfoot getting moved which is too bad, imo - he’s a valuable player

Bjorkstrand is good. Sorry you don't think so.

Because it's better than the marlies, would be close to his family.

Yes dubas got bent over a barrel on that trade. Sending money back to make it close to fair.

Yes Muzzin will. No it does not.

Could be any team, leafs aren't over the salary cap. Would take whatever his value is in this market.

    Hope that clears things up.

There are a lot of good players, but I wouldn’t trade Willy for them. Agree to disagree, but a bit unreasonable to blame dubas for not trading for a guy we don’t need

What incentive does Muzzin have to leave his hometown team for a worse team who’s not even interested in him? The Murray trade was for the sens to dump cap space, if they were to take Muzzin back they’re essentially adding $1 mil in salary while giving away two picks. They go from saving $4.6 mil to adding $1 mil. There’s no incentive for them to do that.

Kadri played for his honetown team and was asked to waive, mcdonagh waived and currently ottawa doesn't look much worse than the leafs. I'm certain Muzzin would rather play for the sens than marlies.

Costs more than a 3rd to dump 4.7m x 2 of 3rd string goalie. I could care less where Muzzin goes. But I would take more from ottawa if he doesn't go there. Buffalo did.
