No, they're still a better team, but that doesn't make this trade good. Florida got an elite winger, in exchange for an elite winger, a top pairing dman, a prospect, and a 1st round pick. Calgary losing Tkachuk was inevitable, but still somehow got better from the trade

You can’t be serious.
Both key players are on final year contracts and the 1st is 3 years from now.
Calgary is imploding almost as fast as Chicago.
It’s sad. One bad move or event begets future bad moves (desperation).
I’m so glad Jarmo didn’t get crazy desperate back when Bob/Panarin/Duchene/Dzingle all walked.

giving up weeger AND a first i dont know this teams prospect pool is awful but if gaudreau and tkachuk left what about weegar and huberdeau
