48 hour buyout window 3 days from now for us apparently according to Frank Seravelli

If they were going to buy out Zucker it should have been during the first window when there was plenty of UFA's to pick from. Now it doesn't make sense to take the cap hit for years just to sign EROD and Larsson.

I think they keep Zucker.

I think Erod and Heinen not singing anywhere, and this whole larsson siutuation, means something is happening. At least one of them will be a penguin I think and a zucker buyout/cap dump is one of the most likely scenarios

Kapanen was going in to arbitration. But I have no idea how the rules actually work around that. All I know that the news came from Seravelli himself

Our top 6 is pretty much set. Im not super confident in the bottom 6 though. But personally I really want Zucker to stay cause he’s got the tools to succeed. It’s the matter that he’s injured so often it affects his production

I’d absolutely love for Nylander to get a look as well but with the addings of Archibald, Caggiula, and Poehling it feels unlikely that Zohorna, O’Connor, and Nylander get a spot in the line up right now. Archibald is a gritty 4th liner with bits and pieces of offence to his game. Could be a 10goals+10assist player and on a low cap hit. He also brings some defence as well. Poehling I’d have to think gets a line up spot as well. Also can’t forget to mention there’s McGinn as well. As for Blueger I’d want to see him get a 3rd line spot. Hes been a pretty solid two way player and yet unable to produce as much points because he’s on the 4th line

If a team has a player go to arbitration and it is either settled or awarded, the team receives a new 48 hour buyout window beginning 3 days after the arbitration settlement or award. Kapanen settled, Pens get the window.

Zucker buyout doesn't really make any sense at this point so I doubt it happens

I don’t think it’s happening. We’ll probably just stick with being crunched against the cap
