I find it hard to believe Vancouver will make the playoffs next year let alone win the Pacific. Swap them with the Cassidy helmed Golden Knights who are almost certain to rebound now that they are healthy. It's also pretty unlikely the Panthers and the Wild miss the playoffs too

My thoughts are Bruce is the best regular season coach we may have ever seen and the Canucks were a playoff team points-wise after he took over, Vegas has lost all their depth due to their Cap crunch because they may be "Healthy" but their "Healthy" without Pacceroity, Dadonov, Janmark and have very spotty goaltending. Think Minny is great but the loss of Fiala, Talbot, and lack of Center Depth hurts Minny lastly Florida behind Ottawa was my bold prediction but I think Florida D is arguably one of if not the worst D core going into next year along with a not so good Bobrovsky, they lose Marchment, Huberdeau, Weegar, Giroux, Chariot and still over the cap right now. I'm taking the Sens Forwards and D over the Panthers and I think goalie is a wash

Yet leafs goalies catapult them to first?

The Leafs are a regular season Juggernaught it does matter who they have in net theyll dominate the regular season this year and then lose in round 1 again with those goalies.

Wrong Bruce, look at Cassidy's win rate as a head coach. Outside of 1 bad partial season in 03/04 his win% has been insane. Boudreau gave the Canucks a spark for a few weeks after taking over but they soon regressed back to normal after with a slight improvement. They will be better but bubble team at best.

Vegas as mentioned above about Cassidy also still has a very deep roster despite loosing those 3 players and until he got hurt Lehner was excellent last year.

The loss of Fiala will definitely hurt them but Minny also has Rossi joining them as a likely top 6 center on an ELC.

Florida's d-core certainly got weaker but I also don't think they are done yet. Bob was also pretty good last year
