Let’s figure out a Bear Soucy retained deal

Canes take that, and in a seperate deal, probably call about Soucy

Already lost Fleury and Lauzon so we're not moving another LHD and canes can just sign a replacement or use Gardiner if you can't trade him

Rather see what we have with glass than trade him when his value is the lowest it’s gonna be

Kraken just signed Kempny, an LHD. If we had plenty of cap space, I would just keep Gardiner on the 3rd line for one more year, but we really need to move him. I'm sure the Canes are looking at both UFA as well as trade options. I think Soucy is one of those options. We'll have to see what can be worked out.
