Description

The Canucks are 2-3 years away from being a true contender. Right now it’s pretender time. To make pretender time into contender time a couple significant trades needs to be made centred around prospects that are already drafted coming back to Vancouver. A pick or 2 at most is ok but the average NHL draft pick takes 3 years to get to the league. If a player was drafted in 2020 or 2021 that’s ideal for a 2-3 year contender window.

Raty is one of the top 40-50 prospects in the league. At some point NHL teams will need to get over covid. Smart teams like Detroit have already adapted

Ethan Bear I remember the good ole days when I was called all sorts of names because I said he would never be a top 4 defenceman. Nucks should be able to find someone better than that

He’s a center. Islanders are also going to get Kadri, so don’t worry about trading with the islanders

Canes accept in a heart beat. Theyd need to figure out Gardiner to make the cap work but they’ll get creative.

I think if there's one thing the last three offseasons have taught as anything, it's that the Islanders aren't "desperate" to do anything lol. Kinda hope we don't switch up on that for one year of Miller
