DISCLAIMER: This is a hypothetical scenario in which Bergeron or Krejci do not resign, which I know is very likely at this point.

I obviously don't want to ever see Pasta in a jersey other the Black and Gold, and Donald Clarke and Cameron Michael seem to not want to tear the team down yet. However, I have a sneaking fear that Bergy and Krejci don't resign that would influence Pasta to leave.

If this were to happen I would imagine Donald to do the right thing and dish him so that they don't lose him for nothing. I've seen a lot Calgary posts with people acquiring Pasta but I haven't seen one with a truly fair price. This, to me, would be the most fair offer. I used the Eichel trade as a guideline for this one (Roster Player, Prospect, and Draft Capital) . Dubé is the only enticing forward on the roster right now IMO. The biggest need in the prospect pool for the Bruins is defense but Calgary doesn't have any high quality defensive prospects. I was in between Zary or Coronato but because the B's went Center heavy in this past draft, I chose Coronato.

Pasta should fetch 2 firsts before the season starts and probably one at the TDL. I would say it is relatively fair but retain maybe 1-2m if you want that return

They should... rsecislly if they could re sign him. I would definitely give that up for an 8 year sign and trade.

No the issue is how many pending UFA's they currently have otherwise I would agree. If they can extend him yes in a heartbeat

For a guy like pasta that is going to pot 50+ with huberdeau you move money out. Already started making an agm to see how it fits...

First off, love the opening statements above. And honestly, I know this is hypothetical and what could happen if it weren’t to happen, but I think about it during the day, What If It Doesn’t Happen? And I don’t have an answer. This is probably similar to what Will happen if worst case scenario comes, but not to crazy about it all just cause I don’t want to think they won’t be back. Overall if worst does it’s worst, it’s realistic and I like it.

Bruins need a center prospect for pasta if possible, defence is set for a lot of years, we have no young forwards.
