Zero chance Winnipeg waits until 24 for a pick with protection if the players coming back are that low quality.

The players aren't low quality lmao.

Either FLA 2023 1st or MTL 2024 protected take your pick

FYI Dvorak was on a 48 pt pace on the worst team in the NHL, Injured a lot during the season. This guy could very well hit 60 pt this year... Low quality is a bit harsh. PLD is clearly better than Dvorak, but the difference isn't more than a first and a B prospect

Lol. As I said the Jets would turn down the lowball offer, so they wouldn't have to worry about it.

No one cares about pace. His career high is 38 points. That's extremely mediocre and yes the difference is more than a first and B prospect.

WDYM no one cares about pace. Example: McDavid had 48 pts in 45 games, more than an 82 point pace season. Are we going to see that season as an outlier to McDavid, no. He still played like a super star that year, not a second liner

McDavid has earned the reputation as a scorer that pace might mean something. But in a low end player like Dvorak is just a fluke outlier in a small sample size. 38 points is who he is.

PLD's career high is 61 points. Why we acting like he's a top line center lmao.

Dvorak last year .59 PPG

PLD last year .74 PPG

One's low quality and the other one is apparently worth a kings ransom

I wonder why you cherry picked one season. Could it be that Dvorak's career average of 41 points/82 games and career high of 38 points doesn't fit your biased narrative?

38 point career high for Dvorak to 61 points for Dubois. 23 points is pretty massive. I wonder why you didn't bring that up?

If you don't like the price don't ask for a player you don't want to pay a fair price for.

Why would the Jets accept less than what Dubois gets as a rental in 2 years?

However, with Dubois clarifying everything and having a contract he'll most likely stay a jet this year.

Nobody cherry picked anything. It's literally last season lmao. The only one that seems to have a bias is you. Calling Dvorak low quality shows that.

A difference of 23 points isn't more than a 1st + B prospect. So according to your logic it would cost PLD + 1st + B prospect + to get Matt Duchene right? I mean he's got 25 more points than PLD's career high.

You don't even know what the fair price is. You just seem to be really overrating PLD. I doubt he'd get a great 3C/ok 2C signed 2 more years, good prospect, and 1st as a rental.
