You can’t trade Yamamoto to Arizona for them to retain a quarter of Toews/Kane AND take Barrie. That’s ten million dollars in salary. Oof.

All of Kane & Toew’s salary = $0.00 actual dollars and is only $5.25 million. Yamamoto will come in at $3 million. So that is a cap hit of $12.75 million, when they currently have $23 + million in Cap Space.

Not a huge deal, really.

Cap space has value. Ur gonna have to find a different team for Barrie imo.

Barrie has actual value, I don’t understand the thinking that he needs a sweetener (Mayo was a . He would be by far the best RHD on that roster. Mayo, Brown and Sketcher are barely NHL calibre dmen. The DCorps on this team currently only has 3 decent defensemen, Barrie improves this team by a lot.

He was was mostly very good in the playoffs and is a top 10 defense point producer over the past 5 years.

You want Kane, then you have to part with the 2023 first-rounder. No way around it.

the black hawks will want at least two 1st picks plus two 2nd round picks plus Xavier Bourgault and then you might get them . and why over paid for Sonny Milano could signed him easy at 1 million maybe a little cheaper and Phil Kessel you could sign him for a 1 to 1.5 million on a one year deal . and your going to have to at least give the coyotes at least two 4rd round picks maybe one 3rd round pick and one 4rd round pick just to get them to retain money on Kane and Toew , and i don't think the coyotes would have the room to add 13 million to they cap room

No they don't, Chicago still needs to accept a trade offer regardless if they waive and Chicago declines this.
