Description

I feel like POJ might get traded so I added that in. If he did it would probably be in a package for a forward but for this exercise it will just be a pick. If POJ doesn’t get moved just switch him with smith.

Special teams get a new look with Rakell on PP1. For the PK, we get 1 veteran and one new PKer on each pair.

This team looks very solid IMO. DEFINITELY some question marks on forward, but if Kapanen and Zucker play to their potential we are cup contenders, and if they don’t we have time to make adjustments at the trade deadline.

Because it was very inconsistent last year and rakells skill set matches that of a PP player. Not because rust is bad I would be very on the fence about which one I would choose

Joseph gets a 3rd round pick back at best and that would be lucky.

Rakell's best season on the PP is less in goals and points than Rust last season so I'm not sure that is the right move. I do like the idea of Kap getting more PK time. He was a good threat doing so in Toronto.
