There's better options than Teuvo and Guentzel. Svechnikov only makes 2 mil more than TT and you have the space. He's undoubtedly better. As for Guenzel, you have guys like Nylander that may be a better fit. If not Nylander, perhaps someone like JT Miller. Just my two cents

Ah shoot, forgot about Svech, and there is space as you pointed out. My bad. Nylander could work here, but IMO Guentzel's the better player (he gets overshadowed by Sid a ton, he's elite). Miller would be too much.
EDIT: I realized what I was thinking when I picked Teravainen-I'd already slotted in Guentzel, and thus was looking for a RW (and while Svechnikov can of course, he normally plays on the left, whereas Tuevo plays on the right).

Says… there are some better options with that additional 3 mil but it’s actually not that bad.

Completely fair. Although, Teuvo is naturally a LW too. He can kind of play anywhere. But that makes sense if you're trying to stick to having players in positions they can actually play

Swap ehlers for turbo ehlers was on a mad tear and I'd rather have him for 600k more

I considered it, but took Teravainen because I wanted an established PK'er to pair on the first unit with Hintz (in short, Tuevo's the better 2-way player). But for sure Ehlers is better offensively, I wouldn't complain if you took him.

If you want the pk so bad I think there's better options in bergeron or Marchand who have good contracts as well
Tage Thompson should be on the team, 38 goals and is making 1.4 million. Troy Terry should also make the cut.
Thompson is an interesting case-he really blossomed in '21-22 after looking like a bust for a couple of years. If he scores at that pace again this year, 100% agreed, but for now, I'd take Beniers/Caufield/Boldy/Zegras if I was building long-term.
Terry I don't agree with, he cooled off quite a bit after his red-hot start to last year, plus IMO his ceiling is not as high as any of the players on this list (don't get me wrong, he's still a bargain deal, but he doesn't quite make the cut).

Bergeron doesn't have a contract yet, and I didn't want to do guesswork. Marchand is a good point (I forgot how low his cap hit is)-put him in Guentzel's stead and then I'd be fine with taking Ehlers over Teravainen.

Terry had 10 goals and 22 points in his last 25 games, if that’s cooling off, I’d gladly take it. I think he could replace Batherson on that 3rd line and then use the extra cap to upgrade elsewhere.

Terry scored that much in the final third of the season? Wow, that's on me then (I see he finished with 67 pts in 75 games-I thought he finished with 50-55). Still, I wouldn't take him over Batherson, who was scoring at a slightly higher pace than Terry before Aaron Dell tripped/checked him into the boards. Wouldn't take him over Kyrou either, FWIW.

The reason I’d suggest Terry over Batherson is because you’d save 3.5 in cap, which would be enough to upgrade Guentzel to Gadreau or someone of the like. Gadreau+Terry>Guentzel+Batherson.

Is it though? Call me crazy, but I actually think I'd take Guentzel+Batherson over Gaudreau+Terry. But admittedly, it doesn't have to be Gaudreau, and I'd probably take Kucherov/Kaprizov/Tkachuk+Terry over Guentzel+Batherson,
