Interesting take. I'm confused; I've read articles and watched videos where MacK talks about taking less money on his next contract in order to be competitive. I still think he signs for less and that the rumors that he's looking to be the highest-paid player are not accurate. I see him signing for 8yrs, $86mil, or $10,750,000 per year.

Interesting take and the team honestly doesn't hurt as much for it as I originally thought they would. Georgiev/Francouz pairing definitely the only weak spot on this team and maybe the third line is a little underwhelming too, but still easily the best team in the league lol

Absolutely...he is going to go the Crosby route and take way less than he would otherwise get. Mark it.

So, what other teams is offering over 13m for McKinnon which would force the Avs to pay 13m? Can't think of any, can anyone?
