Not sure why the Canes would make that trade. It’s a 1C swap, and while MacK is a bit better than Aho offensively, the gap is made up with Aho being elite defensively and his faceoff percentage. Not to mention, MacK is almost certainly getting 13mil next year, whereas Aho will likely get 10mil. And the Canes are adding Jarvis as well, yeah no reason for the Canes to do this.
