Why? Pelletier will almost certainly make the team this year and Dubois is forcing his way to free agency.

Why is it our dream to get a toxic player thats known for attitude issues and forcing his way off teams, and on top of that give up a haul for him when its almost certain he'd force his way off the Flames too.

Calgary's window is short to win a cup the 2nd line is really holding them back. they have like the 4th best 2nd line in the pacific, boosting it this much turns them into a real contender and a team that can dance with Colorado

to improve the 2nd line with this trade there would be an exstion in place. Sutter could get alot out of him

Monahan is going to be available to play sometime in the season, maybe from the start, so really they don't need to make either of these moves in the off season nor should they.

Monahan isn't as good as he once was Dobuis would be a huge upgrade for them imho

They still will need to activate him though, a Dubois trade or a trade for a 2C seems like something that would be suited for before the All-Star break. They will know what they have from their team, and what they need.

He pulls a shift with Sutter like he did playing for Torts in Columbus he'd be glued to the bench like he was by Torts

He'd be working the Sutter farm in Alberta before the game ended, never to be seen again.

Flames window just opened up again. They were one of the best defensive teams last year and just added Weegar, giving them maybe the best 1-to-6 defensive group in the league. Huberdeau can step in and replace Gaudreau and Pelletier should step in and thrive under Sutter with his play style.

Yea maybe for 1 year, but theres a reason why there isn't really a trade market for PLD currently, everyone knows he wants to play in Montreal so I wouldn't even consider giving up anything of significance for him, at best hes a rental but most likely hes a toxic locker room chemistry killer.
