NYI won't be able to afford Wheeler by the time their off-season is over. The Leafs trade is extremely unlikely unless Murray gets a career ending injury in the off-season.

Just not realistic to trade for a player and trading him away immediately if it's not a 3-way trade or if that was the mutual expectation between the new team and the player. I'm sure Murray wouldn't go to WPG if they are on his NT list anyways.

Also, way too many pieces going to Winnipeg, would be 3 quality pieces + one for cap purposes if it is a futures trade. Probably a goalie prospect as one of them.
