I like this deal for Nashville. But I think Nashville would prefer to keep Carrier instead of trading for Murphy. Doesn’t really make sense for them to trade Carrier for an injury prone Connor Murphy.

Edit: L’Heureux and one first needs to be removed from this deal

Edmonton doesn’t have the capspace

And that’s way too much to be spending on a rental. I’d love Kane and if we could wrap him up long term I think the price isn’t terrible. 4 years of retention on Murphy would be expensive but giving up 3 1st round picks (L’Heureux still has 1st round value) for a rental (Kane) is just too much to swallow
