Wouldnt mind buffalo doing an offer sheet, but i think buffalo would be in big cap trouble themselves a few years down the road with ROR Okposo Eichel Samson Pastranak and Risto and fowler. Lots of cap so potentially another team gives an offersheet to Nylander or something. But i do like the idea of an offer sheet, just something needs to be done to address the cap

I still can't believe no one offersheeted Kucherov last year! Unreal

I think the Fowler trade is reasonable

And I could see Vegas taking Bogo, but we might have to give them more than a 3rd

No way Ennis goes for a 2nd though. He has no decent trade value right now, so we're probably better off keeping him to see if he can bounce back

Getting rid of Moulson will be tough, but with that retained salary it's possible imo

I'd love if the Pasternak thing worked out...
But I gotta think Boston would match,
& somehow make it all work out

        Not bad ideas though!

offer sheets rarely happen and it won't happen here. Good chance Boston has Pastrnak locked up before free agency hits.

Yup. It has to be a perfect storm to get one through.

They would (not that an offer sheet would happen) and wouldn't think twice about it. We have $10 million in cap space pre expansion. It's going to be McQuaid or Killer that goes, so there is another $2-$3 mllion in cap space. We have Spooner who is a good center but doesn't fit our system and he can be used as a sweetener to get someone to take a bad contract off our hands. Its really not that hard for Boston to keep Pasta. Oh there's also they fact that Pasta is on record saying he wants to stay in Boston and loves the city....but I'm sure that's not important.

Of course the Sabres can't do this. Those cap dumping deals of Ennis, Moulson and. Bogosian just can't happen. Teams don't want Sabres scrap, just so Sabres can have cap space. How ingenious.
